Recently, the Indonesia Chilata floatingphotovoltaic project contracted by China successfully completed theinstallation of all photovoltaic modules, and officially entered the stage ofcommissioning and grid connection. The project is the largest floatingphotovoltaic power station in Southeast Asia and the first floatingphotovoltaic power generation project in Indonesia contracted by a Chinesecompany.

The 145 MW floating photovoltaic powerstation project is located on the Chilata power station reservoir in West Javaprovince, Indonesia, about 130 kilometers away from the capital Jakarta.Thetotal installed capacity of the AC side of the project is 145 MW, which isexpected to provide enough electricity for 50,000 households after completion,greatly easing the power supply tension around West Java, while reducinggreenhouse gas emissions, photovoltaic power generation to help the Indonesiangovernment to achieve the proportion of renewable energy as soon aspossible,reduce water evaporation, inhibit algae growth, is advantageous toaquaculture and daily catch, to promote local economic development, renewableenergy development, expand employment has an important positive role.

Since the project starts, the project teamactive as, work together to deal with equipment supply lag, extreme weather,etc, reasonable allocation of manpower, construction machinery resources, peakorganization about 1200 localized construction personnel in two shifts, with first-classexecution completed full photovoltaic module installation work, get the heightof the cooperated-builing affirmation and praise, and received the totalcontractor sent thank-you note, fully highlights the China Power construction,wisdom and power.
