Recently, the world's largest single cellsolar power station project in China, the Aldafura PV2 solar power station, hasbeen fully completed.

Aldafura PV2 Solar Power Station is locatedin Aldafura PV2 Solar Power Station Project in the United Arab Emirates in AbuDhabi. It is one of the largest single photovoltaic power stations in the worldat present, and also a landmark EPC project in the green energy field under the"the Belt and Road" initiative in China.

The relevant departments in China haveundertaken a series of tasks such as terrain and geological survey, design,equipment supply, civil engineering, installation, and commissioning of theproject. At the same time, they are responsible for the two-year operation andmaintenance of the power station, achieving comprehensive and integrated highstandard services.

Project covers an area of 20 squarekilometers, installed capacity of 2.1 gw, using the world advanced photovoltaictechnology, equipped with nearly 4 million photovoltaic panels, 300000 pilefoundation, 30000 sets of tracking bracket, cleaning robot more than 2000,8000series type inverter, 180 box transformer and more than 15000 kilometers ofcable, power station performance, power generation efficiency. As of mid-November2023, the project has contributed 3.6 billion KWH of clean power to the UAE.

When completed and operational, the powerstation, it will provide electricity to 200,000 households, help ABU Dhabireduce carbon emissions by 2.4 million tons per year, and increase theproportion of clean energy in the total energy structure of the UAE to morethan 13%, thus contributing to the sustainable development of the UAE'snational energy economy.
