On December 25th, at the 2023 AnnualConference of the Photovoltaic Industry, the 700W+Photovoltaic Open InnovationEcological Alliance was officially established. This is seen as anothermilestone moment in the photovoltaic industry. Upgrading from 600W+to 700W+isnot only an upgrade of component products, but also a leap in the overallecosystem of the industry. At this point, China's photovoltaic industry hascompleted the "mandatory courses" for entering the era of 700W+. Fora considerable period of time, the photovoltaic industry has been committed topromoting industry standardization. Due to the inconsistent size of siliconwafers used by different enterprises, the manufacturing cost of thephotovoltaic industry chain has increased; At the market level, it has causeddifficulties in product selection for power station customers, installation ofphotovoltaic systems, and collaboration between upstream and downstream. The size of silicon wafers has become themainstream industry recognized from a variety of sizes to 210 sizes, undergoinga long spiral iteration process. Every round of product iteration isaccompanied by the elimination of equipment and production lines, which is ahuge waste for all enterprises. In theory, the size of silicon wafers should beas large as possible, which can further reduce the cost of battery componentsand save system BOS costs. However, the size of the silicon wafer cannot beinfinitely enlarged, as excessively large silicon wafers can cause reliabilityissues. What is the optimal size of a silicon wafer at a certain level oftechnical proficiency? On August 16, 2019, the 210mm ultra large silicon waferG12 was launched, attracting industry attention. Afterwards, the size of 210silicon wafers gradually became mainstream and accepted by the market. On July9, 2020, a total of 39 enterprises from the upstream and downstream of thephotovoltaic industry chain, including silicon wafers, batteries, modules, tracking brackets, inverters, materials and equipment manufacturers, jointlyestablished the "600W+Photovoltaic Open Innovation EcologicalAlliance", connecting various links such as raw materials, auxiliarymaterial supply, production manufacturing, system adaptation, logistics, etc.,opening the door to the era of high-power. Since 2023, the standardization ofphotovoltaic products has accelerated. On July 7th, nine component companiessimultaneously announced that they had reached a consensus on standardizing thedimensions of the new generation rectangular silicon wafer's pattern components(2382mm * 1134mm); In December, with the iteration of N-type technology, thepower of 210 size photovoltaic modules gradually entered the era of"700W+"; On December 11th, a joint initiative was released to promotethe standard design and application of 700W+photovoltaic modules, whichstipulated the external dimensions and long side installation hole spacing of700W+photovoltaic modules. For us, Multifit, we need to seize thisopportunity and take advantage of the continuous expansion of the photovoltaicmarket to introduce our photovoltaic equipment and photovoltaic cleaningequipment to our potential customers, so that they can familiarize themselveswith the performance and quality of our products, and ultimately placesuccessful orders. And actively participate in domestic and internationalexhibitions, such as the Canton Fair and the RE+ exhibition held in Las Vegas September,And the All Energy Australia, new energy exhibition held in Australia October toseize this opportunity for our end customers to experience our products in thefirst place.
