The meeting summarized the overalldevelopment of renewable energy in the country in 2023, sorted out key workconsiderations in 2024, listened to the implementation of opinions andsuggestions put forward in the last monthly situation analysis meeting, theconstruction progress of major renewable energy projects across the country,wind power and photovoltaic power generation in 2024 The production plananalyzed the situation and problems faced by the development of renewableenergy, studied relevant measures and suggestions, and proposed next workrequirements.

The meeting pointed out that in 2023, mycountry's renewable energy will maintain a good trend of high-speeddevelopment, high-proportion utilization, and high-quality consumption, playingan important role in ensuring power supply, promoting energy transformation,and expanding effective investment. As of the end of December 2023, thecountry's total installed renewable energy power generation capacity reached1.516 billion kilowatts, accounting for 51.9% of the country's total installedpower generation capacity, accounting for nearly 40% of the world's total installedrenewable energy power generation capacity; in 2023, the country's totalrenewable energy power generation capacity will increase The installed capacityis 305 million kilowatts, accounting for 82.7% of the country's newly installedpower generation capacity, accounting for half of the world's new installedcapacity, exceeding the total of other countries in the world; the country'srenewable energy power generation capacity is nearly 3 trillion kilowatt hours,close to the total electricity consumption of the entire society. 1/3; Thecountry’s major renewable energy power generation projects have completedinvestments of more than 769.7-billion-yuan, accounting for about 80% of allpower engineering investments; in 2023, the output of key components such aswind turbines will account for more than 70% of the global market, andphotovoltaic polysilicon, silicon The production of chips, cells and componentsaccounts for more than 80% of the world's total.
